She holds a BA in Communication Studies from McDaniel College. Rebekah’s research focuses on message effects in science, health, environmental, and risk communication. She utilizes quantitative, qualitative, and eye-tracking methodologies to examine a wide range of research topics. Her current projects examine the potential utility of narratives in reducing young adults’ psychological distance to colorectal cancer and influencing their behavioral intentions for prevention and detection.
